Marine Bank & Trust Mascot Mariner Pete standing on top of the Marine Bank logoMarine Bank’s mascot, Mariner Pete, is off to see the world this summer thanks to the 21-year-old Bank’s Facebook fans.  Marine Bank is encouraging its social media followers to take its nautically-attired pelican along on their summer travels, photograph him in unique locations and then post the photos to their personal Facebook pages tagged with #MarinerPete.  Participants will be entered into weekly drawings for $25 gift cards and a grand prize drawing for a $150 Visa gift card being awarded on August 31st.
“Marine Bank needs your help to cure Mariner Pete’s wanderlust,” said Bill Penney, president and CEO. “Whether you’re going to the Coliseum in Roam or the beaches of Vero, we hope that you will take Mariner Pete along for the ride.  In exchange for helping Marine Pete spread his wings, we’ll be awarding prizes to participants all summer for our winners to put back into our community.  Because, even though Mariner Pete loves to travel, he knows it’s smart to buy local!”
To participate, pick up a Mariner Pete at any of the Bank’s four full service banking centers including the Vero Beach island location at 571 Beachland Boulevard, the Vero Beach mainland location at 1450 U.S. Highway 1, the Sebastian location at 1020 US Highway 1, or the Melbourne location at 3303 Suntree Boulevard.  Limit one per family while supplies last.  For complete instructions visit  www.MarineBank.bank/wanderlust.
